90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2010
($55; planted on granite) Medium gold. Liqueur-like aromas of apricot and pear complicated by honey, brown spices and grilled nuts. Silky, ripe, spicy and quite sweet, with a honeyed aspect to the flavors of apricot, apple and peach. Finishes tactile, but with less obvious minerality and acidity than the 2007 version. I marked it down slightly for a note of crab apple.
