($100; auction wine) Golden yellow. Flamboyantly rich aromas of pear preserves, wild honey and clove are embedded in smoky botrytis. Rich and creamy, with a candied apricot flavor studded with lime peel-and brown spices thrown in for good measure. This wonderfully elegant wine is certainly one of the finest ausleses of the vintage.
