Extravagant, multidimensional nose exhibits intense fragrances of verbena, honey and dried pineapple, with complicating nuances of pepper, smoke and tobacco. Hugely concentrated, large-scaled and powerful, with an opulent plum flavor laced with licorice and black pepper. Abundant flinty minerality and bracing acids are exquisitely integrated, providing this wine with excellent structure and focus. This truly monumental wine will benefit from extended bottle aging.
