($55; roughly one-third each riesling, gewurztraminer and pinot noir) Orange-gold with a blush of pink. Pinot-like aromas of strawberry, spices and minerals complemented by a whiff of acacia flower. Surprisingly dry following the nose, with bright, soil-driven flavors of citrus fruits, strawberry and spices. Finishes long and subtle, with some sweet tannins. Offers a light touch but showed a more exotic quality with aeration. A worthy successor to the 2007 release.
