90 Points | International Wine Cellar , January/February 2010

($37; one-third new barriques Light, bright yellow. Lively aromas of orange, dusty stone, anise and honeysuckle. Dense but tightly wound, with spicy acidity cutting the wine's impression of ripeness. Tangy minerality contributes energy to the ripe pear and apple flavors, which pick up a bitter peach pit note on the back end. Manages to be both fresh and lively, and finishes with very good clarity and nervy persistence.
