($60) Medium green-yellow. This complex and multilayered wine exhibits intense aromas and flavors of blackberry, pumpernickel, gooseberry jelly, grapefruit and honey-drizzled dates. Quite full and concentrated, but given structure by a solid acid backbone. The impressively long finish throws off notes of ripe yellow apple, grapefruit, tobacco, pepper and wet slate. Drink now to 2023.
