2008 Alma Rosa Winery and Vineyards Chardonnay Santa Barbara County

Yellow-gold. Shy aromas of pear skin, honeysuckle and saffron, plus a hint of minerals. Round, slightly sweet orchard fruit flavors are firmed by a smoky mineral quality and pick up a note of melon with air. Finishes slightly warm, but with good persistence.
