($14; includes 3% mourvedre, 2% grenache and 2% viognier) Good red-ruby. Aromas of dark cherry, black raspberry, plum, licorice and tobacco leaf. Juicy and energetic, with a firm spine and lovely cut to the black fruit flavors. Boasts very good definition and substance for a wine in this price range. The fresh finish features fine tannins.
