I don't agree with white fruits in the expert's description. I would say (and this is my opinion) that plums, cherries (dark), and black pepper. Definitely dry, full-bodied, but soft tannins. A different taste for sure than French and Californian wines I'm used to, but I will buy this wine again. It went very well with my steak.

A bit too sweet for my personal taste, but I can see why others give this wine a higher rating. Overall, it is smooth and drinkable. I, however, would not purchase again.
