About Beckmen Vineyards

When winemaker Steve Beckmen returned from Italy in 1997, he was convinced that his family's recently purchased hillside in Santa Barbara County would be perfect for growing Rhône varietals. His father Tom was skeptical, but since then, Purisima Mountain Vineyard has established itself as one of the finest sources of Syrah and Grenache in the Central Coast.

This Rose lived up to the excellent description given beforehand. Easy drinking. I don't drink Rose often, but wish I had ordered more of this wine.
Beautifully crafted

Again, the Beckmen folks nailed it. This is our second year receiving the Rose and I have to say this is our "go to" wine for the dogs days of summer. Plush and fruity with enough meat to stand up to spicy BBQ off the smoker grill. I'd love to see more Beckmen available from WineAccess...we just had the 08 Sauv Blanc and it was equally good. Funny though, my retailer cannot find the Rose in his catalog. Thanks WineAccess!!!

Ranging in style from light and fruity to deep, brooding and intense; the grape also suits a variety of ambitions: Grenache can be used in inexpensive wines that offer immediate satisfaction, but it is also successful...
