($58) Medium red. Cherry, dark berries and smoke on the nose. Chewy red and dark berry flavors are enlivened by a tangy blood orange quality and framed by silky tannins. The tangy quality carries through the finish, which becomes deeper and sweeter with air. Very nicely balanced; I'd bet on this rewarding a few more years of patience, but it will never be a heavyweight.
