I was extremely pleased with this selection - even moreso than some of the other Rhone 2007's I have purchased. This one was lush and full - good grapes and fruit from opening through day 3 - no tannins to fight with - also had a good nose. It was deep and dark and drank just that way. Also big thanks to WineAccess for teaching me to be on the lookout for the Rhone 2007's in general. On this one the price was a super-bargain.

I found this to taste best when served around 57-60, then the fruit and spice taste the smoothest. It's good wine, great to serve at a dinner party when you're going to go through several bottles.

I am not typically a fan of the big fruit bomb type of wine, but this was certainly palatable. Big flavors of red fruits followed by pepper and spice. Will be interestiong to try this a couple of years.
