($42) Dark purple. Smoky, oak spice-accented red- and blackcurrant on the nose. Bitter cherry and cassis flavors are complemented by subtle herbs, with fine-grained tannins adding grip. Finishes with very good focus and an echo of pleasantly bitter cherry skin. I'd give this a couple of years to flesh out.
