($20) Deep red. Sexy aromas of cherry-vanilla, dried flowers, mint and brown spices. Lush, slightly sweet red and dark berry flavors are given grip by a bitter cherry skin quality and framed by velvety tannins. A broad, fleshy, almost liqueur-like style of sangiovese, with strong finishing spiciness and very good persistence.
