($74) Good full red. Aromas of redcurrant, cherry pit, hickory smoke and earth. Sweet, broad and rich, combining ripe red fruits with equally sweet smoky oak. The broad finish features a fine dusting of tannins and good lingering fruit. Really shows the ripeness of the year. (Polaner Selections, Mt. Kisco, NY)
