($12; a 50/50 blend of tempranillo and syrah) Vivid red. Sexy red berry and cherry compote aromas are complicated by rose and violet scents. Midweight red fruit flavors are firmed by a tangy mineral quality and pick up a note of bitter chocolate with air. Turns a tad hard-edged with air and finishes with gentle tannic grip and an echo of cherry.
