($10; 80% tempranillo and 20% monastrell, raised in stainless steel) Deep red. Fresh red berries and minerals on the nose. Juicy, straightforward berry flavors are complemented by gentle spice and cracked pepper qualities, with a bitter note on the back end. Finishes chewy but a tad rigid, with good tangy persistence.
