90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July/August 2009

($45; 100% tinta de toro) Opaque purple. Exotically perfumed scents of dark berry liqueur, vanillin oak, brown spices and dried rose. Deep in dark fruit character and chewy in texture, with sweet vanilla and cola qualities adding complexity. Emphatically modern in style, with strong finishing fruit character and lingering spiciness. This is drinking well now. (Casa Ventura Imports, Bellingham, WA)
