Love the kitchen sink, it pairs well with most foods & is a hit with every house guest I've ever had.

This is one of our favorites! Smooth with a light, clean finish. Excellent red with pasta, steak or alone. This one is a stock item at our place.

Sure it's no heavywieght or fancy wine, but, as a friend once described wines like this 'It drinks itself'.

A comfortable red dinner wine for those who don't like a dry wine.

The wine was smooth and had a fresh and even flavor. I really enjoyed this one. I drink a lot of red wine- would definitely buy this again!

I personally really enjoyed this wine! As a person that doesn't usually like red wine, I found this to be very smooth, and not too dry or bitter. I would definitely purchase it again. I am also looking forward to trying the white that is also available! :-)
what do you want for $13.00?

I bought this wine after sampling it at a church members home. I purchased it from another store for 12.99, I was really happy to see it on sale here for $10.00! Totally worth the price, has a warm delicious flavour, really fills the moth and works well with meats.
Not what I expected

I have had many great bottles suggested to me at TotalWine but this one was a dud. The wine tasted fine over the tongue but then the finish was a bit harsh, making me forget what the taste was. For the price the Menage a trois kicks it butt. Kitchen Sink was not for me.

I bought this bottle on recommendation and the person that suggested it? I want to punch him in the face. Over oaked, over extracted all hype, no delivery.
Not great - even for $10 wine

I know why they called it "Kitchen Sink" because that is where I poured it. No character, no mouth feel, no finish. For my money, Red Diamond Merlot is a much better under $10 choice.

About California

It is remarkable that an industry essentially less than a half-century old could capture the attention of the American wine-buying public to the degree that California has. Powerful consumer interest in California wine is driven by two major factors. The more obvious reason is that California's best wines, which come from grapes grown in...
