($15) Pale bright yellow. Pungent aromas of grapefruit, lemongrass and gooseberry: classic Marlborough sauvignon. Concentrated, tactile and aromatic in the mouth, with firm acid backbone cutting the fruit sweetness. Finishes subtle and persistent. An excellent basic bottling.
