90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2011

Bright ruby.  Energetic redcurrant and cherry aromas are complicated by cured tobacco and smoky mineral nuances.  Juicy and pliant, with deep but lively cherry and bitter chocolate flavors, silky tannins and a late note of licorice.  Tannins gain strength on the finish but harmonize nicely with the zesty fruit, which lingers with very good tenacity.
