94 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2011

(100% tempranillo):  Vivid ruby.  Highly complex, mineral-driven bouquet of raspberry, candied cherry, rose and Asian spices.  Very fresh, palate-staining red berry flavors are supported by a vibrant underpinning of tangy minerals and pick up smokiness and florality with air.  Juicy, focused and extremely pure, finishing with outstanding cut and spicy persistence.  This wine's exotic character makes it very easy to drink right now but I'd give it at least another five years of bottle age.
