($17; a blend of carinena, syrah and garnacha) Inky purple. Sexy aromas of blueberry and boysenberry compote are complemented by cinnamon and mace, along with a subtle smoky undertone. Gains weight and richness with air, picking up notes of mocha and candied flowers. I looked for tannins but failed to find them. Extremely attractive right now.
