91 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2010

($29; 100% viura, reportedly from 60-year-old vines) Bright, greenish gold. Sexy aromas of pear, melon and nectarine, with subtle spiciness and minerality. Rich and fleshy on entry, then nervier in the mid-palate, offering lively orchard and citrus fruit flavors, silken texture and incisive minerality. Finishes with very good clarity and sweet, sappy persistence.
