($38; 86% tinto fino, 10% cabernet sauvignon and 4% merlot) Vivid ruby. Heady aromas of red and dark berry preserves, smoky minerals, incense and Indian spices. Creamy and sweet, offering sweet raspberry and blueberry flavors and showing no rough edges. A peppery note comes up with air and adds energy to the long, juicy finish. This is drinking well now.
