Remarkably improved with age and lots of air
This is now one of my favorite petite syrahs and definitely my all time favorite wine at this price range. A little age and experimentation finally brought out the quality I have come to expect from Wine Access. I open the bottle and let it air for a week. Incredible depth and just the right amount of astringency, which I really appreciate in a wine. I'm glad I bought this wine.
a little high in alcohol and so a bit hot; but big flavor.
We all thought it was great. Good color, flavor and legs plus almost stained the glass. I found the winery and ordered more plus some of their other varieties.
Delicious, classic Petite Sirah, dark inky color, excellent value.
The "Committee Opinion" :Three improves noticeably after decanting and allowing it to breath for 1-2 days.
Three Petite Sirah
Excellent wine...huge from start to finish.
Deep cherry but loads of tanins, could use another year or two of cellaring. Opens after a couple of hours almost bitter after 10 seconds first but has a long lasting finish. I would buy this again the body of the wine is powerful especially for a Petite Sirah
Cline is good
Excellent wine for the price point.
Tried one bottle, was not impressed at this time, but do think it will improve with age.
Needs to sit.
When first opened, there was little depth and, quite frankly, took a little getting used to. The next night, however, the flavors had bloomed tremendously. I still think it needs to age a bit more, but the second tasting showed a great deal of promise.
The wine is still young and needs to be stored in the cooler for a few years...I think it will be very good with some maturity......
OK for the price
An OK Petite Sirah for the price but I won't buy again.
Although this wine is good, it's not as good as I had hoped or expected.
Nothing good to say sirah
Average to slightly below average petite sirah. I can't think of anything to say that is positive.
Not that good
Was erally disappointed by this wine. Had a couple of other good efforts from "Three" and I REALLY like Petite Sirahs but this one was not good. I think I will let it sit in the cellar for a few yrs...
