Roses on the noses

I know...I know... wine is for drinking. I recently tasted this wine at a French survey tasting at The Winehouse and bought it afterward. I enjoy bouquet almost as much as I enjoy its taste (which is pretty fine also), I guess I am funny that way. And the Gauby had a bouquet which I initially identified as bright cherry, very unusual to my nose. One of my fellow tasters called it floral and pegged it as roses. Upon taking another deep lung filling smell I had to defer to his more apt description. This wine has a very unique bouquet (bouquet is right) of roses. Wonderful. Very special.
