Riesling as it should be

There are lot's of reasons why Riesling has fallen on hard times, but the key one is that most are too sweet for American tastes. This one has the right acidity and minerals to be light, tasty, and interesting without cloying sweetness.

Nice but not out-of-the-park. But, my riesling hating husband actually liked this one and drank it instead of this so-so syrah we had.

This is a beautiful, complex Riesling. A fruit aroma, a lovely berry taste, and yet still a dry wine. Far more interesting than most Chardonnays at this price point.

Tastes differ, of course. I did not find the Riesling unusually good. It was rather less flavorful than anticipated.
