94 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2011

Bright deep red.  Complex nose melds dark cherry, tobacco, coffee and a hint of exotic fruits, with almost peppery lift.  Silky and fine-grained but at the same time penetrating, showing terrific sappy energy to its dark fruit, pepper and tobacco flavors.  With its light touch, this reminded me of a Chambolle Amoureuses.  Finishes with firm tannins and a sexy hint of game.  This can be enjoyed now or cellared.
