($19) Medium red. Aromas of cherry, raspberry and licorice, plus a very ripe suggestion of prune. Then sweet and smooth on the palate, with raspberry and cherry flavors complicated by a leathery nuance and framed by strong but harmonious acidity. A fine-grained barbera with good length and lift, seemingly riper than the 2008 dolcetto.
