($55; 100% syrah) Glass-staining ruby. Sexy aromas of blackberry and blueberry preserves, violet, incense and orange zest. A smoky quality adds complexity to rich dark berry flavors, which are framed by supple tannins. Very suave, creamy and sweet, with strong finishing thrust and an echo of smoky floral notes.
