($35) Good deep red-ruby. Exotic nose offers dried fruits, date and yellow raisin without coming across as oxidative. Suave, ripe and fine-grained, with a silky texture and sexy oak tones. Finishes with chewy tannins. I normally prefer my cabernet franc with more primary fruit, but this wine offers considerable appeal.
