($35; a blend of zinfandel, carignane and petite sirah) Bright red. A complex nose offers briary red berries, smoked meat, dried herbs and a hint of flowers. Lively and precise in the mouth, with flavors similar to the aromas. Bright but ripe and not at all heavy, with an intriguing element of candied flowers on the back half. Finishes with youthfully gripping tannins and hints of Indian spices. This should reward aging.

This wine was the first I sampled from my first Wine Access shipment. Wow! This wine was amazing! Enjoyed it with bracciole and salad. Smooth tannins and a great finish. The flavors were indescribable with hints of dark fruits, minerals and spice. So sorry I only had one bottle. Enjoyed it with my family and everyone loved it! This is why I love wine!
