($27) Opaque purple. Powerful aromas of blackberry, violet, licorice and mocha. Dense, fleshy and sweet but not overly weighty, offering complex flavors of black fruits and spices complicated by bitter chocolate and game. The smooth finish features suave, fine-grained tannins and good persistence.
