($45) Bright ruby-red. Dark berry and cherry aromas complicated by dried rose and baking spices and an exotic hint of apricot. Pretty wild and expressive pinot, offering sweet dark fruit flavors lifted by tangy acidity. The finish repeats the spice and dark berry notes and lingers with very good tenacity and gentle grip. This one should reward a few more years of patience.
