About Maison Chapoutier
Maison Chapoutier, the first négociant and producer to mark their bottlings with braille, was established in 1879 by Polydor Chapoutier. The business has remained family owned since then and is now run by Michel Chapoutier. His hands off approach to winemaking has lead to a resurgence in quality at Maison Chapoutier, which now produces some of the finest wines in the Rhone region of France.

Deep red. Fresh red berry and floral aromas are complemented by notes of anise and white pepper. Racy, high-pitched redcurrant and raspberry flavors are tightly wound but offer good clarity and cut. A bit creamier on the finish, which echoes the red fruit and floral notes. This will drink well on release.
