About Maison Chapoutier
Maison Chapoutier, the first négociant and producer to mark their bottlings with braille, was established in 1879 by Polydor Chapoutier. The business has remained family owned since then and is now run by Michel Chapoutier. His hands off approach to winemaking has lead to a resurgence in quality at Maison Chapoutier, which now produces some of the finest wines in the Rhone region of France.

($85) Dark red. A perfumed nose offers raspberry, strawberry preserves, herbs, anise and dried rose. Silky and sweet in the mouth, offering lively red and dark berry flavors. Finishes juicy and fresh, with very good persistence and a touch of cinnamon.
