Saturated purple. Pungent aromas of dark berries, crushed stone, anise and spicy oak. Suave on entry, then perfumed and sweet in the middle, with lush dark berry preserve flavors and gentle tannins. Appealingly open-knit and creamy, with good finishing clarity and spicy persistence.
