91 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - January/February 2010

($80; the producer does not disclose the varietal make-up of this and the Misterio 1) Bright ruby. Blackcurrant, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, espresso, licorice and sexy oak on the nose. Rich, ripe and sappy, with enticing sweetness nicely balanced by integrated acidity. The deepest of these blends from Alma Negra but without any suggestion of heaviness. Finishes long and horizontal, with firm but sweet tannins.
