($13) Medium red-ruby. Enticing aromas of plum, currant, cocoa powder and spices. Sweet and supple but with insidious acidity giving the wine vinosity and a light touch. In a cooler style, depending as much on its acids as on its tannins for structure. Finishes with a lingering note of chocolatey oak.
