87 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - January/February 2010

($22) Orange-pink color. Pungent cherry pit and herbal aromas, with notes of dried flowers and minerals. Fleshy, palate-coating red fruit and orange zest flavors are braced by zesty minerality and pick up a bitter fruit pit note on the back. A touch warm and oily on the finish, as Tavel tends to be, with a lingering note of singed orange.
