93-94 Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2013

Bright purple.  A compelling, heady bouquet of red and dark berries, violets, Szechuan peppercorn and smoky minerals.  Sappy and precise, offering palate-staining raspberry preserve and cherry-cola flavors and notes of candied flowers and spicecake.  Nervy and focused on a gently tannic finish that strongly echoes the raspberry and floral notes.
