(85% marsanne and 15% roussanne from old vines) Vivid gold. Highly perfumed, exotic bouquet of nectarine, orange pith, pear and licorice. Lively mineral and floral notes add complexity and urgency to the clearly delineated orchard fruit and candied citrus flavors. Gains depth with air and finishes with a whiplash of dusty minerals and spices. I really like this wine's balance. This wine got one-third new barriques
