(95% marsanne and 5% roussanne) Deep yellow. Honey, peach pit, fig and smoky lees on the nose. Fleshy and smooth, offering smoky, palate-coating pit fruit and floral honey flavors. complemented by hints of truffle, licorice and sweet butter. This wine has the weight and chewiness of a red wine. Finishes with superb length, repeating the smoke and licorice notes. Serve this with rich, buttery poultry or shellfish dishes.
