($48) Deep ruby. A smoky, intensely perfumed bouquet displays cherry, red berry preserves, cola, violet and herbs. Juicy, focused and spicy, offering nicely concentrated cherry and raspberry flavors and a touch of finishing smokiness. A bitter cherry note lingers on the sappy, yet refreshingly brisk finish. This is showing a lot more energy than it did last year.
