Opaque ruby. Oak-spiced aromas of blackberry and cherry complicated by floral and cracked pepper nuances. Sappy, penetrating dark fruit flavors show an attractive sweetness and good depth for the vintage. Oaky and modern, with seamless texture and good finishing cling. This is drinking well now. (Kysela Pere et Fils, Winchester, VA)
