($30-$38; 63% grenache, 34% syrah and 3% mourvedre) Vivid ruby. Perfumed aromas of cherry, incense, bitter chocolate and licorice. Supple, dense and smoky, with good restraint to its spicy blackcurrant and bitter cherry flavors. Nicely tactile but a bit rigid, with good finishing lift and a hint of candied flowers.
