($32) Vivid ruby. Redcurrant and cherry on the nose, with notes of black pepper and tobacco adding complexity. Spicy and a bit hard-edged, offering tangy red fruit flavors and a touch of peppery spice. Nicely brisk but somewhat unyielding on the racy finish. I'd have liked more flesh here.
