Inky purple. Ripe black and blue fruits on the nose. Pliant, seductively sweet blackberry and boysenberry flavors seem like they come from a riper vintage. Licorice and bitter chocolate qualities add grip to a long and well-focused finish. This year's blend is 40% syrah and 30% each of grenache and mourvedre.
