Full ruby. More reserved than the Cote-Rotie, showing black cherry, dried flowers and spice cake on the gently smoky nose. Juicy, pure dark berry, bitter cherry, violet and spice flavors offer very good cut and precision. A hint of sweet cured tobacco builds with aeration and carries through a very long, sappy, perfumed finish.
